Thank You Jack, The Irish Boys are Back
1994 - Lunar LNSC94
Notes
All of the information on this recording was kindly provided by Livinus Killeen: "Side A is Paddy Reilly with Ray Treacy & Shamrock Rovers singing ' Thank You Jack'. Shamrock Rovers is a Dublin soccer club, Ray Treacy was their manager at the time and the Jack being thanked is Jack Charlton. The B side was Paddy Reilly solo singing Terry Winch's 'When New York Was Irish' — (Winch is amusingly mis-credited as 'Witch' on the label). 'Thank You Jack' was issued for the 1994 World Cup."
1 "Thank You Jack" also appears on the (below) anthology, Irish Football Songs.
2 "When New York Was Irish" also appears on the (below) re-releases of The Gold & Silver Days, but not on the original release.
